This is the full crop. I did boost the contrast and messed with the levels a little bit oh and sharpened.
This plane was flying very low, luckily toward the moon and I had my 70-300mm lens on (which is also lucky because I prefer my 50mm 1.8)

Its an amazing shot. As you said, at the right place on the right time with the right equipments.
Great shot. I've never got my camera ready when I see something cool in the sky.
