My baby is trying to grow up way too fast. Climbing out of the crib = big girl toddler bed.
It was fun that she was sleeping so still, I set the camera on the ottoman so I could up the aperture to get more detail, I love love her lips!

april, she's so beautiful -- and those lips are the most kissable i've ever seen. maybe she'll be a lip model someday. :)
oh, that phase from crib to big-girl bed is so bittersweet, isn't it? -- tugging your emotions both ways. the crib is almost a little mental safety blanket -- when they're in it, you imagine they're safe. and the bed is one step towards independence.
my daughter (age 17) just bought herself an inflatable queen-sized bed with brown silk sheets, where she and her boyfriend sit to watch movies. ummmm.... let's say I kind of wish her back in that crib, bigtime!

I love how kids sleep. so content, peaceful, no worries in the world. I wish I could sleep deep like that again.
