Today I am grateful for my crazy little 3 year old!
He has now decided to refer to me as April instead of mom, not sure how I feel about that :)

My daughter went through a stage where she called me by my first name too. Then again, she also wanted to be called Baby Jesus for a while too which raised some eyebrows at her preschool.
oh that's funny! yeah, my kids were the same -- until they stubbed a toe or scraped a knee and came running to me calling "mommmmy!" i think it's kind of amazing -- that suddenly they realize you're a person with an actual name, just like them! great shot!
i LOVE that pic...his hair, expression and color is fantastic!!!
