Every other day of the last week has been a silly picture of my baby... she is at such a fun age :)

Today was beautiful, we:
*played at the park
*swam and splashed in the lake
*built sand castles
*destroyed sand castles
*ate sand castles
*had a picnic on the beach
*ate more sand

Here is my little man trying a radish from the garden. He actually liked it this time, though I think he may have just been starving since he didn't eat lunch :)

My wonderful grandpa passed away on May 8. My little baby and I left the boys in NY and flew to UT to be with my family.
During the funeral my mom and uncles talked about how much he loved flowers, and bargains. He would find great deals on half dead plants, nurture them to life and then give them away.
At the end of the funeral my grandma had any and everyone take flowers home, because she knew grandpa would want it that way. This is one of my sweet memories from the weekend.

Day 129
My dear sweet grandpa passed away last night. He loved gardening and flowers... these are for him :)
Ever since I could remember he would whisper in my ear that I am "a sweet beautiful princess" He always made me feel special and had the greatest belly laugh!
You will be missed grandpa!

I am in a little bit of a funk this last week. I have been very busy and my 365 has taken a back seat. I hope to get back into the grove next week :)

Lettuce from my garden. I am so excited to be able to eat it soon... apparently so is my baby :)

I really love dandelions... until they get to this point! I am so embarrassed having these stalks all over our yard.
Today I mowed them down and it was very gratifying :)

We took a trip down the the Bronx Zoo. It was so much fun :)
My little man is in the middle with his two friends that came with us. We had them hold hands so no one got lost! So cute :)

Family Fun :)
I had the opportunity to take pictures for a wonderful family that I go to church with. It was so much fun especially considering they have 7 beautiful children ranging from 19 years to 18months old! So I am taking a break from posting my 365 pictures to give them a little (large?) sneak peak of the pictures :)
First we went to an abandoned red barn...
This little sweet heart stole the show :)
Then we went to a beautiful apple orchard to take more pictures. If you live in NY it is Fo'Castle Orchard off of Blue Barns Road.
